The late interior designer Stuart Rattle’s final project is on the market for $9 million-plus in Toorak.
He modernised the 1925, four-bedroom Arts and Crafts style house at 42 Heyington Place leading up to his murder in December 2013.
Kay & Burton agent Gowan Stubbings said the stately two-storey residence was some of the leading designer’s “finest work.”
The exterior at 42 Heyington Place, Toorak was designed by Ballantyne and Hare. The house last sold at $1.65 million in 1994.
There are coffered ceilings, European oak floors and a limestone fireplace.
Offers are due with Kay & Burton by November 28.
