Wyndarra, a Tasmania five bedroom house has been listed for sale. 

It was built in 1917 by the Shoobridge Family whose patriarch, William, introduced Hops to Australia for the production of beer.

It was offered by Ann Courtenay and Aaron Niblett from View Hobart.

Situated at 515 Gordon River, Bushy Park, the home is set over two levels with a grand entrance hall which leads to a spacious living room, and a formal dining room on the other side with valley views.

Architect Charles Bruce Dellit's home Aleuria, Wahroonga listed

Architect Charles Bruce Dellit's own home, Aleuria at Wahroonga on Sydney's upper north shore, has been listed for sale.

The Wahroonga home is on the market for the first time in 25 years.

It was built in 1928.

Aleuria is most known for having the winning 1929 design of the Hyde Park Anzac Memorial, which is currently undergoing major works.

Aleuria was built during the inter-war Mediterranean movement, with classic Italian renaissance elements.

It has been listed by Chadwicks Real Estate agent Penelope Prior who is quoting a $3.5 million price guide.

Prior said the famous opera singer Dame Nellie Melba tried to buy the four-bedroom estate that sits on 1838 square metres.

It has been owned by Sheelagh and Timothy O’Brien for the past 25 years.

There have only been three owners of the property at 38 Fox Valley Road.

Kangaloon trophy estate set to go under the hammer

Yverdon a 15-acre estate located in Kangaloon is being auctioned in August.

It is expected to sell for over $3.75 million.

The Southern Highlands offering has been listed for sale through Knight Frank’s Deborah Cullen and Richard Sholl. 

The home comprising four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a home office and media room, along with a mud room and a triple car, automatic garage.

According to Deborah Cullen, Yverdon is was the "perfect country getaway".

The holding includes an Olympic size dressage arena, four bay stabling with tack and feed rooms, three covered day yards and six grass paddocks.

The 1641 Kangaloon Road offering will go to August 9 auction.

Cintamani, the Noosa hinterland trophy estate, sells

Cintamani, the redundant Noosa hinterland weekender of US-based music producer and songwriter Mike Chapman, has sold for $4.25 million through Tom Offermann Real Estate agents Eric Seetoo and Tom Offermann.

Chapman bought for the 35 hectare property just over a decade ago for $8 million. He was willing to take $5.7 million last year.

Cintimani was built by Austrian tennis champion Thomas Muster in the mid-1990s, so of course features a championship tennis court.

Is it a replica of centre court at Flushing Meadows in New York, home of the US Open. The net posts were once installed at the All England Club in Wimbledon.

The single level, five bedroom retreat offers over 1,400 sqm of living space.

The music room and studio were sure to be a driving force behind Chapman's purchase, who famously helped pen Tina Turner's hit song Simply the Best.

Muster paid $1 million for the parcel in 1994 and sold his newly built home for $7.6 million in 2002 to Stephen Walker, the co-founder of debt collection agency Collection House, and his wife Sue.

Offermann indicated the iconic Noosa country estate was selling for substantially less than replacement costs.

Hampton House sells for Kiama record

Hampton House, the luxury Kiama home, has sold for $3.35 million, the biggest beachside sale in the coastal inlet.

The property, which is said to have been inspired by the Hamptons, was built after it last traded for $1.74 million in 2007.

Lime Builders constructed the four bedroom, four bathroom home, complete with environmentally friendly features such as e-glass energy efficient windows.

The Tingira Crescent home on 600 sqm has a number of outdoor spaces including a fully glassed scenic entertainment balcony and private enclosed, professionally landscaped garden courtyard incorporating a water feature, stone floor tiling and bronze statue figurine.

Raine & Horne Kiama agent Steve Pryor sold the home after 59 days.

The last sale price for the holding was $920,000 was some five years ago.

Parkmore, a historic 1891 Victorian mansion in Rosebud, the seaside town on the Mornington Peninsula, failed to sell at weekend auction.

McEwing & Partners Mornington agent Quentin McEwing saw two bidders compete for the property before it was passed in at $3.175 million

The heritage listed manor had an initial guide of $2.7 million to $3 million which was amended to a price guidance of $3.2 million to $3.5 million..

It was listed last year with $3 million to $3.3 million price guidance.

It now comes with a price guidance of $3.2 million to $3.5 million.

It last sold at $2,825,000 in 2016 when bought by the property developer Robert Kampf.

Directly opposite a long sandy stretch of beach, the 741-743 Point Nepean Road house comes with three living/dining rooms, a modern kitchen, wine cellar/cantina, six bedrooms, and an array of verandas and patios.

Taj on Swan auction stops with $15.6 million offer

The abandoned home building block of flamboyant billionaire tycoons, Pankaj and Radhika Oswal was passed in at Saturday auction in Perth.
 
The top bid was $15.6 million with three of the five registered parties competing for the prize parcel at Peppermint Grove.

Marketed as "the most famous block in Australia" the 2 Bay View Road site was listed through Ray White agent Vivien Yap inconjuction with Sotheby's agent Graham Bowie. 
 
Two years ago there were $30 million hopes for the prestigious Perth offering, after the partially built so-called Taj on Swan mansion was demolished under council orders.
 
The 6582 sqm site, which could fit six homes, had reduced $19.5 million hopes last year.
 
The mansion with Swan River views sat unfinished after the Oswals quit Australia in 2010 amid a dispute with bankers about the wind up and sale of their fertiliser business.
 
The Oswal family had controlled WA's $700 million Burrup Fertilisers gas-processing plant

Former housing commission Lalor Park trophy home sets $1 million plus record

Lalor Park has tipped $1 million for the first time. 

The Heffron Road property was originally housing commission. 

The vendors had extended and renovated the house, on 613 sqm.

Set on a 613 sqm parcel of land, it is now a modern, two-storey residence featuring high ceilings, downlights, timber floors, double glazed windows and a fireplace.

The 56 Heffron Road offering sold for $1.06 million bettering the suburb’s residential record by $95,000 with a $965,000 on Lawson Street in March. 

Selling agent Alistair Agius, of Harcourts Hills Living Baulkham Hills, said it was a sign of growing buyer interest.

“Lalor Park has had such a bad rap for many years but it’s taken strides towards improvements with a lot of knockdown-rebuilds and many young families moving in,” he told The Blacktown Advocate. 

CoreLogic has its median house price at around $690,000, up 27 per cent over the past three years. 


It sold to a large family from North Rocks.

The purchasers were unable to buy a six-bedroom house in North Rocks for $1.06 million, Agius said.
